Why I Founded Upright Leadership
I started Upright Leadership because I saw talented people struggling with damaged relationships, fear, pride, control, confusion, and honesty issues.
You might notice conflict, poor communication, defensiveness, or distrust. But often, the real problem starts inside the leader.
What happens inside a person shapes how they live, connect with others, make decisions, and lead.
That’s why leadership growth needs to go beyond skills and results. It should also focus on who a person is, their identity, beliefs, motives, and actions.
My Personal Connection
I don’t come to this work pretending to be perfect.
I know what it’s like to struggle with trying to please others, to lack confidence, to want approval, to be inconsistent, and to feel scared of difficult conversations.
I’ve had to face moments when my actions didn’t align with my values and have learned to take more responsibility for how I impact others.
My job isn’t to act like I’m above my clients or to have all the answers.
Instead, I try to create an honest and challenging coaching relationship where leaders can understand things clearly, take responsibility, and work on real, lasting change.
